In my opinion, I think the movie made the book. The book was good, but would have been a bit boring without the visuals of the movie, because there weren't too many written details to allow awesome visuals. Like compared to reading Harry Potter, it was much more visually detailed in written word. I Love all 4 books, don't get me wrong!! :)
