I hate how GH recycled this story for Jake's death. It was like, bam Jocelyn was sick so quick, and Carly went straight for the kids kidneys. No memorial was held, Liz & Lucky got limited scenes afterword. Jax didn't even thank Liz or was all that involved. They probably were going to kill Liz but fan outcry stopped them so they handed us, (since it was from the golden era) fools gold.

Was thinking of this while watching as Jake Webber was put on life support, and they want his Kidney for Josselyn. Soo sad :( Thanks for posting.

that really took on all the social issues, but I gotta say GH stepped their game up in he 90s. This was the end of the golden era.

@GlowInTheDark707 Do you see how they are redoing BJ's Heart? With Jakes Kidney! I agree this story line makes me bawl like a baby, as i am sure the new one will too. But can they not come up with new ideas?

Wow after all these years that scene is still a tearjerker. I 'm crying like a baby. Best years of Gh hands down. I miss that era great storytelling at its best.

I don't think that there has EVER been a more powerful and moving storyline on GH than "BJ's heart".
There are only 2 other storylines that rank with this one: "Stone's AIDS" and "Elizabeth's Rape".
GH during the 90's were the LAST great years.
