Ok so theres alot of talk here. Riots broke out in several cities, detroit hit the worst.

The big three was the major employer, and these black people were underpaid. And they we angry and wanted the whites out. They terrorized neighborhoods. Not all of them, but just enough to tip the scales.

Whites didnt burn their businesses for insurance. They looted, only a little.

Its the blacks that burn houses on devils nite isnt it?

Lack of education was at the core, as it is today.

now detroit is a city of blacks -- and it looks the same as africa.

@ruedauseil I'm not uneducated. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. And what degree do you hold big shot? History shows tat the mayor of Detroit offered several outreach programs and adult education to anyone who wanted to better themselves. The niggers largely ignored these programs and continued to be wards of the state living on welfare. And outsourcing auto jobs did not happen until the 1990s under NAFTA. The riots occured in 1967 and we are talking about 1967 not the 1990s.

Detroit burned in the riots because black people were sick of being oppressed. that didn't hurt the city as bad as the auto companies outsourcing jobs. you can blame the unions for that but the truth is a problem with our economic model making it cheaper to send jobs overseas. racism and greed killed Detroit.

@68lincoln wow you are one racist twat. ever look into the history of the crips and bloods? the earliest riots in LA (as well as Detroit) started as a backlash to racist cops. if you segregate an entire people and treat them like shit it is only a matter of time before they rise up and come at you. and when you shit on those people so much there is NOTHING you can do to hurt them any more, they come at you with a ferocity you will not be able to force back into submission.
