Mega Yacht The "Predator"

This mega yacht named: Predator is built in The Netherlands at one of the best yacht builders in the world: Feadship de Vries Aalsmeer.
This yacht is 72meters long. Her maximum speed is still unknown, but she promises to be a very fast yacht with her 4 MTU 16V 595 TE 90 diesels with a total power of 23.172 HP.
Each engine is good for 95liter displacement and (V)16cilinders and a bunch of turbo's!

Sorry but this is just another multi million boat that looks like a fckng electric iron. WTF do these designers do all day? What a waste of money. Take a look at the Wally 118. Thats more like state of the art.

This boat doesn't look like this now. This video was shot prior to completion or testing. Most of it is covered in a dull grey protective coating that was removed once finished to reveal a very different colour scheme.

Dat weet ik, een familie lid van me heeft jaren bij Amels gewerkt en is naar de Vries gegaan toen Amels
uit Makkum weg ging. Hij heeft nog meegewerkt aan de bouw van de "Boadicea". Er werken nog wel mensen van Amels Makkum bij de Vries in Makkum.
De kwaliteit van de jachten van de Vries ligt overigens iets hoger dan van Amels wist hij te melden.

Dat deden ze bij Amels inderdaad ook, inmiddels is Amels (deels) overgenomen door bovenstaande jachtbouwer de Vries. De grote loods in Makkum is nu van de Vries ipv Amels.
