This video applies to ball-joints that are connected to stamped steel control arms through the use of rivets. GM vans and trucks up to 1995 and the older GM cars like the corvette in the video that have rear wheel drive and that don't have struts. Ball-joints connected to tubular control arms or those that are pressed in require a different procedure and some require replacing the entire control arm(like all newer F150's upper arms). Some have snap-rings on the lower ball-joints that must be removed before pounding them out and a ball-joint press must be used to install the new joints. Finding the torque specification for the bolts is all on you. I found a website for GM specs which is http://www.rockfordcv.com/GM_torque.htm
