How I progressed from a SAD diet to 80/10/10 over a 16 year period, from when I was 16 years old until I went 80/10/10 at 31 years old.

  • Marnstein, you have been an athlete since 16. I just started exercising 6 mos ago. I am raw vegan but take protein b/c afraid of losing muscle mass. I also want to lose 20 lbs of fat. I want to go 80-10-10. Will I still lose fat on this diet?

    ALSO: This question is serious: does this diet make you poo yourself when you run?

  • ha, of course you'll lose fat on 811, no other choice but your body to become supremely healthy and lean, just the way it was supposed to be.

    uh, the last question, no, i don't crap when I run! ;)

  • hey brilliant video, very helpfull. can you please please please post another video like this one saying more examples of meals, i just dont know the amounts i have to heat!! you say 2 pounds of banana, thats 10 bananas!!!! with out peeling??? im a bit lost, thanks!

  • I'm going to check out charlies gym. Its so hard to stay raw. I'm 90% raw and really getting annoyed with it b/c i haven't lost much fat. I need to do a juice fast or something.

    So I eventually got to where I am now: the lowest weight eating 811. No more is coming off, though I still have muscle that can be lost, but not water and fat. This proves that 811 doesn't cause muscle loss.

    I made this transition to 811 slowly, letting the body adapt. You may want to do the same thing. It also takes alot of the worry out of it.

  • I can relate to being afraid of losing muscle mass. During the last 12 years, every time I did a fruit and veg diet for a few days I lost weight, size and strength. It really SEEMS to be muscle loss.

    I eventually learned the truth from people like Richard Blackman and the Charliesgym site. The lost weight is water, fat, undigested food and toxins. The body knows to hold on to muscle and will protect it by not giving you energy to exercise unless you eat enough.
