What grade do you guy reckon you need to be to play this?? :)
-
that is not even the drum pattern, i wont say that u suck, ill say you havent trained your ear, and that is terribly wrong
-
You should try using Finger Control, you know, swinging the stick back and forth in your hand using your fingers, not your wrist. In high paced, loads-of-note songs like this one it can really hurt your wrist if you use only that.
Anyway, excellent! I love it. It's not perfect, but you'd have to be REAALLY insanely good to do it PERFECT. I think even the AM drummer doesn't nail it perfectly on live concerts, but I wouldn't really know for sure. Anyway, keep u[ teh good drumming and ROCK ON!!

not too bad, but really, practice with a metronome. This thing wobbles badly.

arctic monkeys rule

no in the live shows he keeps his left hand on the tom and his right hand hits the snare and floor tom
-
your much better than me
i have always been interested in that intro on the drums, cant seem to get it quite right myself
it sounds like the right hand should be hitting the snare but in the vids and live shows, he uses his left hand along with the floor tom
ill work it out

i want to learn but focusing on grade 4 atm :S lol fair play tht is rockige!

Especially this song, its basic rudiment, Helders is just lucky he's pushed that drum riff forward in a pop song, I been playing that same drum beat since I was about 14....im 22 now!

M8, you should invest in a metronome
Does he use double pedals for Brianstorm?
You're really good btw

i think he could do. i left mine out on this one cos i didnt have much time to learn it in, although it doesnt sound as crisp without so i'd say double kicks are ideal. =]

to be honest, i never got taught the drums so i don't know much about musical terms/timing but i think 16ths is quicker so possibly that? sorry if it doesnt make sense lol
