This reel show cases the effects work that I've done in RealFlow and Maya, as well as the TD work I've done. Projects worked on include Tezcatlipoca, Rock in the Road, and the Lost Sheep.

  • Hi!

    Very impressive work!

I myself have gotten a job in the 3d department in national oilwell, but my goal is to study a year at Vancouver Film School.

You said you use alot of your In house plugins? Where are you employed?

What education do you have? Is VFS a good choice? What do you reccomend?

  • @krth8 I went to school at Southern Adventist University where I got my BS in Animation. The in house plugins are plugins that our school developed. I've just graduated and am still looking for employment. Like you've probably heard the animation field is pretty damn competitive. I think you can do well with any path you take, mostly make sure to do something you love.

  • Holy crap what kind of system did you render the cat scene with & how long was the render time?

  • it was done using mental ray and lots of after effects

  • how long did u need for have such experience with those softwares?

  • I have been using Maya for about 3 years now and I've been using realflow for a little over a year and a half.

  • the last animation, how do you make a character grab an object?

  • what does it mean when you say at the end Rendered by Robin George? Is that you?

  • and whats the music playing in the background? i like it.

  • how is this even possible? how did you combine maya and realflow to get this incredible result? also, how did you form the volcanic stuff and the feline, was it hard to form them and then animate them?

  • fantastic, especially the lava part.

i wish i could make something like this.
