  • can someone tell me what happened to charlotte? does "going to africa to be a missionary" mean that she committed suicide?

  • @rumpole33

It´s a good question.I need to see this movie again.

  • Why in heaven's name is my favourite character now Wickham? How wonderfully twisted.

  • @Ladygwenea

To my astonishment, I also liked Mr. Wickham, besides being handsome, he was a keen man and a good character, so different from the original series.

  • I love it when Darcy experiments with the telly and the iron.. 'Huh?'

  • @MiaOnTheRoxxs

What I found interesting in this series was the fact that no one could predict what would happen in the next chapter. Mr Darcy emerging in a city of the XXI century was something quite unusual and unpredictable.

  • awww amanda and darcy pls stay together

  • I want elizabeth to go away and leave darcy alone yes I said that cuz I want amanda and darcy together

  • @rumpole33 No it means she actually goes to africa to work there as a missionary. A missionary is a member of a religious group sent into an area to do evangelism or ministries of service, such as education, literacy, social justice, health care and economic development :)

  • lizzie is soo beautiful

  • @rumpole33 no, it means that she went to africa to be a missionary:) Literally.

  • Tinky Winky! Hahahaha love how he says it XD

  • I love that they developed Elizabeths character to such an extent. If she brought her curious mind into todays society she's macrobiotic & a tech-expert!! LOL brilliant!

  • @rumpole33 it means that she went to africa to be a missionary. English trade routes connected America, GB and Africa. Like the colonization of India by the British, the same thing was done in certain parts of Africa, namely South Africa. Charlotte probably had heard about the poverty in Africa and had grown up with the notion that Africans were "heathens" because they did not believe in Christianity. Her goal was most likely to do good work for the church and convince the Africans to convert.
