    Because you always shoot panoramic vertically because of lens vignetting. It will show less in the middle of the photo when you stitch it together. He did not explain rotation of the camera. (it's best to rotate it where camera sensor is (100$ ball-head needed). He did not explain the actual stitching process.

    I understand - this is a beginners tutorial, but you cannot explain those things with pro dslr/tripod in the background and mentioning 400$ pro software. ..
