hi, im doing a report and project on pearl harbor. i know these pics had an intro in the vid, buh does anyone know the definite source of there pics? like, where did the creator of this vid find these pics? thanks!

you must be related to someone at pensacola where these originated and were kept secret last year- of course images like these must eventually become public. Virtually no photos from ground zero Pearl Harbor during the attack are known to exist - which makes this find all the more remarkable. The story of the camera and the man who took the pictures is true.

Actually, I am not related to anyone in Pensacola. These photos were circulated around via email last year just before the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I received them by email and thought it would make a nice tribute video to those brave soldiers who lost their lives trying to protect our country. Glad to know the story that came with the email was true. Like you said it makes them all the more remarkable. Thank you for your comments.

I cannot for the life of me understand why reports of unauthorized planes heading towards Pearl Harbor were ignored. The enemy should have been engaged long before they reached their destination. Supposedly a Japanese sub was also seen in the waters. Shouldn't the base automatically been placed on alert? I cannot understand the lackdaisical attitude. This was an incident that could have been easily avoided.

one of my grandpas best friends died on the USS Arizona on that day. i forgot his name but i went to Hawaii and my grandpa and grandma showed me his name. i have a pic of his name i jus have to find it.
