Christmas tradition - Tree of Vanity

This is what God says through the prophet Jeremiah regarding the traditional practice of chopping down a tree and putting it in your living room.

Found out that there was/is a pagan religion who worships spirits living on trees. They offer gifts underneath the tree. Found out as well that they introduce this practice to unsuspecting christians. Thus the christmas tree was born. Christians not suspecting they were participating in a pagan rite. This christmas, I didnt put my gifts underneath the christmas tree. My wife is a catholic and she have two big christmas tree filled with gift underneath the tree.

@alienpatentoffice All Christmas traditions originated in paganism and were grafted on to Catholicism.The majority of the population continues participating in pagan rites.TheXmas tradition has nothing to do with God or His commands.It’s awesome that you took the time to look into the practice of the gifts under the tree,now look a little deeper at the roots of this un-holy day.Maybe next year you will keep ALL the pagan debauchery and chaos out of your house;enjoy a real peaceful winter season.
