This is Day Five of six of our performing arts tour trip to the Netherlands in July 2008.
Day Five:
.Wet. Very. It rained. However, determined to make good use of every last minute of our trip we went out shopping in Valkenburg. Only to find it is impossible to by gifts etc. anywhere.
.After arriving back at the hotel we hopped on the bus and drove down into the centre of town to a small bandstand which would be the location of our final performance.
.We set up and preformed in the rain to the few people that stuck it out with their umbrellas. Much appreciated! It went surprisingly well and was a great final performance.
.Next we packed up the coach with our performing kit for the final time and Gary drove us back up to the hotel for dinner.
.We then all walked down through town to Valkenburgs bowling alley. After an hour or so of competitive bowling and ridiculous dancing to the Numa Numa song we headed out the bowling alley towards a park to round off the day.
.Most of the group engaged in a gripping few rounds of Bulldog before we headed back to the hotel for our last night.
..but overall, a funky fifth day.
