  • it's not a question of "steroids OR training", it's steroids AND training! without steroids they couldn't get that big, but that doesn't mean they don't work hard. these "before and after" pictures are rediculous since there's been like 20 years of full time bodybuilding between the pics. of course jay cutler is bigger now than he was 15, before he started bodybuilding (he started lifting at 18). stupid video...

  • Training without steroids can only take you so far. There comes a point when your body will not produce enough hormones to maintain the muscle size you desire. It doesn't matter if you are Whey Protein, Creatine and eating 400 grams of protein each day. These men do multiple cycles to increase size, and they also do cycles to maintain. It's also devotion....it doesn't matter what you are taking, without hard work and devotion, you'll get nowhere.

  • the kevin levrone "before" ITS THE AFTER .. LOL.. that is he after he quit takin roids..

  • I'm not saying that they do or don't use steroids, but the time frame you're trying to compare is like 8 and 10 years, and that's a whole lot of training and dieting..I mean if it were only a couple years I could see your point more clearly, but c'mon, a decade?

  • all steriods... 99% off bodybuilders are on steriods..if you say you dont take em..your a bullshitter..and thats that!!

  • @DeanMKH and he was one big fucking 15 year old

  • @bodybuilder718

One last thing: who said Jay Cutler is off steroids. Apparently you know little on the issue. Jay is surely doing either PCT cycles or low-dose cycles for maintenance. He'll start gaining weight during the off-season. Anyways, no need for me to waste my time on that with you.

  • @bodybuilder718

You are also confusing one thing: "hardcore lifters" and "bodybuilders" are not the same thing. One is involved with the sport of lifting as the object of the sport, the latter uses lifting as a means to achieve a physique and symmetry. Take away steroids and you still have determined strong men. Take away Mr. Natural's genetics and you get the same thing. Steroids doesn't do anything unless you work hard at it.

  • @bodybuilder718

Self-esteem has nothing to do with it. If that were an issue then every single guy that works out has self-esteem issues-otherwise, why would they want to lift weights?? Your logic is absurd. As far as Jay Cutler goes, that's your point of view. I think he looks better now than before. Steroids involve the same hard work as any natural lifter.

  • wow no offense but cay cutler's right arm in that pic looks much bigger than the other and we all know what that means :L

  • @axelbello99 it is not a self esteem issue on why gym rats train hard, if anything, people who use steroids have big self esteem issues in my mind. I met many hardcore lifters, they do it for the sport, and testing themselves to the limit, professional bodybuilders don't have that stride, you take away the steroids, and they look like shit, Jay cutler now looks half of what he looked like, after only a few months clean off juice.

  • @emily5718 Your body isn't dying from the inside. The only people who do damage to themselves are idiots who use them without understanding the proper procedures, the diets involved, the limits and the lifestyles involved.
