  • i'm confused... i don't do well w/fractions

instead of showing 3 different ways to do a problem, why not just show the easiest way to do it... math is confusing enough :(

  • @MissDJ: There is not necessarily one easiest way to do a problem. What's easy for one person is not for another, so I give options. There is rarely one path to solving a problem; there are multiple ways of looking at problems in math; it is very creative and artistic; each student decides what works best for them. If you need help with fractions, you might want to check out my set of videos on fractions, as you need to know how to work with them to do algebra and beyond.

  • @MissDJ I hope some of my videos are helpful!

In case you didn't already know...I organize all my math videos at the website called yourmathgal. Spread the word! If you want to know if I posted any videos on a particular topic, you can search by topic at that website. Math is Awesome so Have Fun!

  • here is the problem i am working on 13X * 7y=207 i know the answer, but i dont know how to solve t it.

  • @pierow1973: That's not a linear equation. What do you mean you know the answer? What did you get? What are the directions? To graph it? Solve for X? Solve for y? I'm not sure if you are asking me a question or not.
