My netbook has one VGA port, so I can have 2 monitors without any extra stuff, but having a big monitor and a miniature, not really ideal for dual monitors. And maxivista disables aero in Vista and 7 :(

Exactly the same really, except with netbooks you need either a usb video card (best) or use something like maxivista for network screens. (Up to 4 with full paid version)
