In the 1980's the Japanese cuisine of sushi started to boom. This is a story about one immigrant's struggle and dreams to become a success in the United States. Chef Nobi (Sushi Sasabune - West Los Angeles, Studio City, New York, & Honolulu) shares his story about how he became a sushi chef and entrepneur in the land of opportunity. Chef Nobi and his colleagues helped popularize sushi in Southern California which in turn popularized sushi through the rest of North America

  • Love this vid every time I watch it. Always loved how Nobi-san approached his work. The "Hail Hitler" comment @ 4:21 is funny...since many call him the "Sushi Nazi". He's all about strict excellence....
