* in "Super performance mode" it plays ok in 800x600 with the highest settings turned on as u can see at the first 150 seconds of this video...

* when "Powersaving mode" (1200mhz) is activated u can see at the end of the video that some serious framedropping occur...

if u want to play in power save mode, u cannot play with all settings turned to maximum... try setting everything to minimum and u will probably get arcade performance...

How do you turn on super preformmance mode?

there r 2 ways in windows

first u must make sure u have installed asus eee tools or whatever its called, in windows xp.

then u must use the tool called "super hybrid engine"

(1)either u will find the superhybridengine icon left to the windowsclock (in the downright corner of screen). it looks like a small box with either the letter "P", "S", "H" or "AH"

(2)or u can run it manually by running SuperHybridEngine.exe

C:\program\ASUS\EeePC\Super Hybrid Engine

ok after that u can google and download:

lavalys everest ultimate

when u start everest u can see under:

mainboard / cpu

it will show the "current" speed in mhz

example in super performance mode:

CPU type: Intel Atom N270, 1680 MHz (12 x 140)

ps. everest dont update the speed reports automaticly so if u change the speed between high-/superperformance and powersaving u must restart everest :-)
