Bud & Travis perform "Delia's Gone" on the Playboy's Penthouse TV program, hosted by Hugh Hefner. Because much of B&T's patter comes directly from the live Santa Monica "In Concert" LP of March 1960, I am guessing this appearance is from 1960 or 1961.
Love Bud & Travis. Best Folk duo ever. Hefner's condescension toward folk music-I think he was trying to be funny-is pretty pathetic and an insult to B & T. However, they rise above it with wit and good humor. B & T's music and musicianship stands the test of time in my opinion. Thanks so much jetgst2825.
Their Spanish songs were even better. Mexican rancheros and standards - like Sin Ti, Malaguena (some impressive singing).

Incredible. I love Bud & Travis, but to see their guitar rhythm and technique as well as hear it makes it doubly impressive.
