Two hours in (5km), and not even into the first ascent, I was unable to walk due to awful blisters. Luckily, the weather for the next four days was sunny and warm, and so I completed the 50km circuit W in my friend's blue, Havainas, Flip Flops with a 30 pound pack on my back. Please excuse my pronunciation of Torres del Paaaaiiineee, what I said has a totally different meaning.
