With permission of the Producer, Darryl Hoover, we share with you an original production about NYC EMS. Darryl and his brother Harold entertained us for years with this, and now you too can enjoy it. Thank you Darryl!

  • Whenever you convert VHS tape, or any film for that matter to another medium, like DVD for example, in the copying and conversion process you lose detail and quality. I just converted a bunch of 8mm film reels to DVD. No where near perfect, but it is the memory that counts. And yes, Darrell's old video does bring you back to "the good 'ole days." Thanks for viewing, and Thanks to Darrell for sharing!

  • DAVE THE RAVE !!! BK IN DA HOUSE !!!

  • my husband is one of the emts in this video

  • Dave was one of my medic students in the early 90's? at SVH. Make no mistake- those days were HARD. Crack, crime, AIDS, units breaking down- it was no joke. Real tight with PD, they came on every job and we carried one PD portable and one EMS portable with us. Every PD class we lost HUNDREDS of EMTs, and we never even saw the Fire Department except at fires. Things are so different now- we were cowboys then, but it was like being at war....
