@gablewriter Believe it or not, I first found out about the song California Sun, when I was 15 (I'm now 38, and plan to live 10 final years from now), and THAT'S how I learned about the song itself! I love this commercial's version.

@MegaToren It sure would get you pumped up for the idea! I'm a Seattle born and raised, so you can imagine what type of thoughts these put in my mind, especially as it started to warm up in the springtime in the Northwest.

They used to air this Commercial during afterschool cartoons. Whats worse, is they would air it during morning cartoons, so I spent all day at school dreaming about going to Disneyland.

@gablewriter I can't argue with the line "Disneyland is the heart of the fun, in the warm California Sun." I first remember seeing this commercial when I was in the 10th grade, and in the spring; kind of when I was entering a good two year era of my life, so it brings back good thoughts.

@neilmory Do you still live in Seattle? Ironies: I'm 37, born and raised in Seattle, but went to school in California for my first two years out of high school. Got homesick (LA's nice and warm, but a little too warm for me, and unfamiliar). But, LA's good for me in terms of a vacation.

I saw this commercial countless times when living in Idaho. This is what made "California Sun" one of my favorite songs.

I was 13 or 14 years old when this commercial ran after my family moved from Los Angeles to Seattle, and it made me REALLY miss sunny California... cuz it rains A LOT up there.
