I'm not sure what it's called, but instead of the C-chord in the beginning you should play a G-chord with finger 2,3,4 and your 1st finger on the 1st fret 5th string.
So Insted of C -> G-chord + 1st fret 5th string

Small question: The D DDU strumming patter in the verse is different than chorus, right? what is the exact strumming pattern in the chorus? Dd DDU?
