Y&R The Young and the Restless Nick and Sharon Newman scenes: On the plane ride home, Diane and Nick bicker about her marrying Victor. Nick points out that she has also been connected to Jack, Tucker, and Adam. Diane says he has no right to pass judgment. He mocks her for hitting on him and accuses her of wanting his money. At the festival, Sharon hides from Adam. The man they met with earlier catches up with Adam and tells him there is no evidence his fiancee committed suicide - there was construction in the area at the time. Adam sighs with relief and asks him to challenge the coroner's report. Sharon tears up as Adam talks about how difficult life has been since she died. As Adam holds his head in his hands, Sam and Piper appear - they're ready to leave. Adam talks to a woman about Sharon's death - she gives him a flower. A festival worker approaches - he overheard him and asks if he's sure it was his fiancee who died - his wife's been missing since the same night. Adam tells him he identified the body, but the man points out the body was burned. Adam urges him to file a report. The guy thinks back to robbing Sharon that night. Back at the barn, Sharon acts distracted when Piper and Sam make a toast to Fanny. Piper talks about how busy her parents are - Sharon says they probably wish things could be different. Piper leaves. Sam asks Sharon why she's quiet. Sharon says going to the festival made her realize she can't go back to the past - this is her life now. She thanks Sam for urging her to go. He's happy she's staying. Diane enters her suite at the Club, cursing that stubborn Nick Newman. She leaves Kyle a message. Just then there's a knock on the door - it's Nick. They kiss passionately and make love on the bed. On the plane ride home, Adam looks at a photo of him and Sharon. The woman next to him says she's pretty. He muses that he just said goodbye to her. Once in Genoa City, Adam enters his suite and sees Diane and Nick in bed. He slips back out.
