You guys from china come to say this is not yakisoba?????????? And what is yakisoba? that nasty, dirty with bad smell food that chineses sells in the beijing streets????? I've been there for olimpics games and i've never saw some food being made so nasty. disgusting thing. never will forget that nasty smell. That, on video, is a good, healthy and delicious yakisoba.

It's definitely has nothing with yakisoba, not just ingredients, but even sauce is totally wrong.

Olive oil....really?

I tend to make this one with thin slices of pork and sake, oyster sauce and soy sauce as seasoning. I also use cabbage, carrots.. some use spring onions.
I was taught to do it this way by a japanese woman. The deal with yakisoba is that if you asked 5 japanese people to cook it, you would get 5 slightly different versions.

This is more Chow mein than it is Yakisoba.....

You're using chives to add Asian flair? Are you kidding me? The whole dish is Asian!!!

Yakisoba (焼きそば, Yakisoba?), literally "fried noodles", is a dish often sold at festivals in Japan, but originates from China[citation needed]. The dish was derived by the Chinese from the traditional chow mein, but has been more heavily integrated into Japanese cuisine like ramen.

The Evo flattop grill can be used to cook Chow Mein or almost any other dish you can think of.
