Boone County High School Girl Assaulted by deputy and Falsely Arrested for not Pledging

On January 6, 2011, Kezia Bethel refused to pledge and was assaulted by deputy Rick White initiated by Mark A. Raleigh the principal who told him to remove her from the Boone County High School classroom, Florence, Kentucky: She was told by her principal to stop passing out her Christian religious tracts and was also falsely arrested and dragged out of her class room and placed on a stretcher by law enforcement officers because she refused to stand and pledge allegiance to the flag. 1.) you are giving us Christians a bad rap. telling everyone that they're going to go to He'll isn't helping. Christians need to love. Jesus loved everyone the same.

2.)Boone county high school isnt discriminating anyone. Especially Christians. Heard of "see you at the pole"?? It's a prayer group that meets during the year at the flagpole before school. Also there was a youthgroup last year at Boone.

@glynisbethel You know God is great. He is the absolute greatest. And I DO believe that with my whole heart. You say Boone sends people to Hell? While it's your family who is the one that is condemning people, and isn't it ONLY God's place to pass judgements on us? Why don't we leave the decision making to the rightful person: GOD.

Just so all who are reading this know: there are open minded Christian in this world. I am one of them. We are not all like this.

Why do you type GOD and JESUS and such related words in ALL CAPS all the time? It's really NOT NECESSARY and makes a rather bad impression upon yourself. Also, being closed-minded makes one ignorant not RELIGIOUS. For example, scientific research( which is bashed terribly by christian extremists (which you make yourself sound like) tries to explain the HOW of things, not the WHY.

I love the fact that these people are trying to push their religion on the students of the school. Church and School should never be one. I know that everyone has the right of Freedom of Religion in the US but when you go out the way to push it upon other people, it just gets ridiculous. Suing the school is not the way to do anything, the daughter was wrong for not standing for the pledge, If you live in this country you follow the rules of the country, you don't disrespect the flag.

It appears to me that "some of the most important court cases," also included paying attorney fees along with the "principle."

@EeveetheAnimator little do you know about me. I have already won. The law is already on my side. Mark A Raleigh knows what he did and now his reputation in on the line. Will he continue to lie in front of the entire class who know the truth or will he do the right thing and confess his sin openly? I am preparing to file another separate lawsuit on the false arrest issue. My strategy is to continued to file suits until they settle with us. Kezia has six more years to file her suit

@dkale the wicked people at Boone County High School were condemned already BEFORE we got there. You are NOT a Christian and there is not such thing as an "open" minded Christian. A Christian has to be transformed by the RENEWING of his or her mind. You are not a "Christian," and I agree, you are NOT like this because this is the way the New Testament Christians acted. They were imprisoned and assaulted for talking about JESUS CHRIST and this is what happened to Kezia Bethel.

@dkale I am doing the work of an attorney. The VERY FACT I was not there is the reason WHY I am questioning her. I have the joy of the LORD and this is my strength. No such thing as separation of church and state. We passed out "Religious" materials in the Boone County High School; therefore, you theory is wrong. It is obvious that you went to Boone. You don't have to stand for the pledge because the Kentucky statute states that you don't. She sat quietly, but was assaulted.
