give them birth control. on all of these web pages you see african kids and families but what about the americans?oh fuck them right laura bush wants to give a billion dollars to fight AIDS in africa yet the americans living with AIDS cant get their meds. because they cant afford it. we can give away a billion dollars to help africans treat AIDS in their babies they every nine months but we cant afford to send doctors over there to to spay those nasty beasts

they do provide birth control in Africa. i used to feel the same way. 'why send money over there to fight AIDS when we have it here to?!' 2005 saw 4.9 million new HIV/AIDS infections in the world. 3.2 million (65%) of them in Sub-Saharan Africa , home to under 10% of the worlds population.

HIV thrives on tragic human conditions fueled by poverty, abuse, violence, prejudice and ignorance. The world is ignorant to the fact that those people need help. AIDS is everywhere. Africa just has the highest percentage of people with AIDS. By sending the money of there, we are helping to fund research. There are more people to test on and to come up with a cure.
