Mainland Regional graduates celebrate roller coaster year
LINWOOD — Graduation Thursday evening, June 21 at Mainland Regional High School brought the curtain down on a senior year that was tumultuous to say the least. The year started with the loss of four football players in a tragic car crash, and it ended with a flash mob featuring the entire class of 372 dancing and singing, "We Are Young." After the last line of the song, caps were flying in the air and cheers rang out from the crowds of family and friends gathered at the Mustang Corral to celebrate the milestone. Look for the full story and photos in the Thursday, June 28 edition of The Current and check out the flash mob online. - Suzanne Marino
