Again, the sound is just beautiful Michael. Beautifully played as well.

@JMichaelThames I'm just now familiarizing myself with your classical sprucetops. Very very beautiful craftsmanship. I'd love to try one if you ever swing through the NYC area.

Dear Michael,
I'm quite impressed with your instrument. Marvelous sound!! Could I ask you something?
How do you achieve this "lute" sound? I've seen a lot of multi string and Alto Guitars, but you reach the lute like any other!! (sorry for the bad English)
Thank you!!

you could also use harmonics on the other 6 strings :D

This is an incredible sound. Like nothing I've ever heard. I'd like to know if there is any concern for stability of this instrument? Over a few years of playing, might the pressure of all this sound and strings cause any cracks, neck warping or stress damage?

@imzvivace Thanks, I haven't had any problems with stability, I put two carbon fibre rods in the neck.

Ticlano, I don't know how I get the lute sound, I think it's the design, and the Dminor tuning.

i think the first six strings are tuned in D, A, F, C, G, D, one tone lower than tradititional tuning.

@cocoapicho Thanks to all for the wonderful comments! The tuning of the first 6 strings is from the first string down,,,,fdafda
