Great idea with the ramp. Did you seal it to the sides or how is it staying in place?
Also FYI, I read that RES turtles cannot produce their own saliva so they have to eat their food in water which is probably why Kame jumped back in the water after getting a big bite of food...lol

this is cute. you might also want to try a shorter bowl as well since it bothers the turtles throat when trying to eat food :)

@soushirui the first time i set up my basking area my turtle got on it like fast and wanted to escape
but now my turtle will just sit on it and bask (i need a new bulb though)

No.
I fill the tank with water from my kitchen sink and condition the water with TetraAqua.
