...well sort of.

My Fleischmann 135/2 hooked up to a Psantama stepper which is powering an HO scale train set.

  • Thats a really neat generator setup. you should publish it!

  • The generator was bought from ebay seller Psantama (he has one on ebay right now). They usually bring around $85.

  • Has anyone ever tried using a bicycle light generator on a stationary bike to run model trains?

  • oh that is clever actuly

  • Nice one NickSteam8.

But seriously though, would you like REAL LIVE STEAM HO?

We are trying to persuade Hornby to bring out an American outline Pacific, a streamlined P4 maybe, using thir proven Live Steam 4-6-2 chassis?

    Would it sell?

  • Ingenuity..at its best!

  • the train at the front is from my smoky mountain express train set

  • That's brilliant! The steam engine sounds great with the extra load on it too.

  • Very nice!

I want to do this the 12V dynamo I have, I would run it with one of my Big engines and would make a great exibit on the show field.

    Job well done!

  • That's pretty cool!
