This is going to murder Minecraft. Can't wait to build a giant lava penis in this game.

@bytegrove Will I tell anyone about your game? I will take word of this project to everyone I see. I will post this on every website and forum I visit, and then even those I don't. I personally will go about making sure that no matter where I go on the internet, if one can be communicated with then they will receive a link to this video. This is a real cool looking game.

omg. last time i saw a video about "voxelstein" first game made out of voxels ever.
and- its free soo i checked it out.. well i got a 5 years old computer with most shitty things in it. the game worked smooth like fuck and the graphics were amazing. i mean everything was made out of little blocks but from like 2 meters it looked soo awsome.
soo i think that we gotta wait 6-8 years and.. you know :] crysis? PHEW.

@thefrub i do not think they had something like that in mind when they started making this

@bytegrove Very nice job man!
Are you using mesh colliders on that, and if so are you constatly updating the collider (or for example on mouse-up as in the vertex paint example)?

@bytegrove i see. thanks alot man. unity games are free to distribute or do you have to pay royalties?
I love this how you make the game, where you can change the terrain. Do you guys take donations? all i have is 10 Dollars, but i would be proud to give it to you.

@Sikeman214 Thanks, but we are not taking donations. Help us spread the word instead, we would be forever grateful. ;)

@bytegrove what did u use to make this?
lucirz 6 months ago
@lucirz We are using Unity3D to render and handle game logic etc. But all the voxel related code we wrote ourselves, that feature is not a part of Unity(not yet at least).

Are you rendering ploygons and using voxels to store the terrain data?
