Liquor Coated Lies Orginal Song By CurtIS Collins

I wrote this song for my mother about her relationship with my alcoholic father. She loved him so much that she really wanted to believe his Liquor Coated Lies. This is my family's story and it was a pretty hard one to write. This was a very painful time in our lives. I am sure there are others out there that went through similar situations. I had Jeff Carson at Hunting Creek Music sing the Demo for me. He has had a number of Hit Songs in the past. Including a #1 song back in 1995 with "Not on your Love". I was so happy to get him to sing it for me. I wanted to give it to my mother for Christmas. This is the first song I have written, but since this I have many more in the works. I hope you like it.

Song brings tears to my eyes. It's hurtful to know that 3 kids and a wife isn't enough for my father to want to stop drinking. I still love you dad but I wish you would realize what damage your drinking has caused.

Well, I went to First Al-Anon meeting today, so sad!! I couldn't even speak. I just sat there and listened. I'm the mom in this song at 37, but now divorced after 18 years of Marriage mainly because of Liqueur coated lies, but he is still trying to be in the children lives. So there still seeing how his action are effecting him and his whole life and Us!!. They are growing up way to fast. sorry for venting.

i really love this song...i can relate to it so much because my father was a terrible alcoholic too. hopefully your father quit drinking, mine died from alcoholism when i was 12. 6/12/2008):
