Upper Animas

We took the Cook Man Food Show on the river with a Trip Down the Upper Animas with Mountain Waters Rafting. This is one of the best rivers in North America when the water is running hard. These guys take their food seriously and have setup a full commercial Kitchen at their camp that sits up above 10,000 feet. After we got off the river we got warmed back up with some great soup from Wind and Willow. Then got down to business and cooked steaks topped with onions mushrooms and bacon along with some chicken topped with green chilies and jack cheese. We finished then meal off with some biscuits and berry cobbler in the Dutch Oven. If you ever get a chance to come to Durango you should consider going on a trip with Mountain Waters. They simply do it better than anyone else.
