@DoowahDiatribe Oh yeah! I remember Mudcrutch well....1971 when I was a freshman at FSU. I met Tom L. at a little place here in Tally where they were playing. Sweet guy, talented musician, and hear he is in Nashville now.

I saw Mudcrutch in concert when I briefly attended the Univ. of Florida in Gainsville in the fall of 1971. Of course hardly anyone knew who Tom Petty was at the time. Glad to see they did this reunion concert!

This has always been one of my favorite songs. What Mudcrutch has done with it is sheer genius!!!
i love tom petty!!!!!!!!!!!everything hes done is cool! he toured with bob dylan, he was a traveling wilbury. the heartbreakers and this too.....it never ends...............these guys are one of the last of the old school rock n roll bands

I like the end where Mike Campbell and Tom Leadon are trading licks. Does anyone remember that Tom's brother, Bernie Leadon, was an early Eagle and bandmate of Don Feldner who taught Petty how to play guitar in Gainesvill, Florida? Interesting how that stuff works out. Yep, they're all Gators.
