Well...I've worked in sports television since graduating from Ohio in 1969, and was also the first announcer for the 110/110 Marching Men.
These announcers do an incredible amount of homework -- but not for the halftime show.
It's seldom these days that marching bands get any airtime or any commentary at all. So, let's forgive the guy. At least he mentioned the band.

So he got it wrong, big deal, had he said that 30-40 years ago he would have been right, because of our origins. At least we got the exposure...? P.S. holy Hio bomb, he said it like 12 times, haha.

Had he known ANYthing about the 110, he would not have said "hundred and" (annoying), and he would have known that the 110 is THE most exciting band in the land. He probably missed the halftime show. His loss.

He may not be able to count or to take the time to check his facts, but at least he recognizes the 110 as one of the best college bands in the nation!
