Technically America did win Iraq in the sense it invaded Iraq and in 3 weeks with minimal effort defeated the Iraq military, overthrew the government, occupied the country and later installed a puppet regime. The fact you occupied a country is sort of winning, When germany occupied Poland they lost thousands and thousands of troops to random resistance groups. History still sees it as Germany beating Poland though.

@TheCmcskills lol. It was impossible to defeat Vietnam because it was handled as a war to maintain not to win. Same with Iraq and Afghanistan. We are dealing with an enemy that is unknown and rather than finding that enemy we fight the Taliban. Theres a lot of talk about WW3 but i personally don't see this happening. We would be talking about Mutually assured destruction and I dont see any winners and losers in that. I think all these countries are more rational they we give credit for.
