The crew of HMNZS Te Mana perform a haka at Expo 2005 in Nagoya, Japan. Can you pick out the crew members that were on an exchange from the Australian and US Navies? The red headed Aussie (Bluey) and the African American went hard out in the haka. Tu meke!!

  • We had the mean crowd too lol, stinking hot day it was. Stoked you can't see me bahahaha, shot dirty....(white Aussie dude) lol.

  • To outsiders who's knowledge of Maoris is confined to romanticised images like this, they might appear to be some sort of 'proud warrior' race. Believe me nothing could be further from the truth. Maoris represent 14.3% of NZ's population and 51% of prison inmates, 59% of female inmates, half of all children in state care, 119 of the last 128 child murders, the highest rate of abuse related child head trauma in the world, ten times more likely to commit violent crime than any other race.
