  • Thanks ,for you answer!

.I think if you put one part after the other and not inside the first piece than you have thicker pages but you can make a book with more pages and will not see the inside of the pages- may be than you can use them as little pockets to hide something- for example the dried leaves of the trees?

  • That would certainly work. I tuck one inside the other because it holds them together so they don't shift as much when punching the holes. And I use a limited number of pages so that I can get the punch through all the layers at the same time. If you make a book with more pages, you'll need to punch holes several times. The pocket idea is interesting. You can also use paper bags and envelopes to make pages with pockets.

  • Hi again,

I love this book but why do you put the holes intio the closed side? The idea with the drried leaves is georgeous!

Best wishes and a lot of new ideas!

  • That is the binding side of the book. If you punch the holes on the other side where the pages are open, the book won't open.

  • can this only be done with 2 pages or is 27-50 pages possible

  • I chose two pages because that is the limit that I can punch through comfortably with a hand-held hole punch. If you do the punching a few sheets at a time or use a heavy duty hole punch, you certainly can make more pages.

  • Thanks for sharing this great binding tip.

  • Beautiful job, thank you to share it with all of us.

  • I think you are right. When doing this books with children it is better not to use to much pages-so you can punch the holes in one step- when using more pagers you might hae to punch several times and then for children it might be to difficult to have all the holes exactly one over the other, To much pages make this kind of book compicated, for it is not so easy to read in them. I usualy score the pages in thicker books,

  • excellent! I love your tutorials- and my pupils will love this nice littel books. The one with the leaves is wunderfull-this idea I will keep in mind till autumn.

  • like it

  • thanks
