ARLINGTON, VA (April 9, 2009)— U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano announced today $100 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), provided through a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant. The announcement was made at CrisisLink, a regional 2-1-1 provider and a United Way of the National Capital Area agency. The program, overseen by a National Board administered by United Way of America, will receive the funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). EFSP has provided food and shelter to families and individuals in need for more than 26 years. These funds are in addition to FEMAs annual allocation announced in December 2008.
WTF?
"...and we should thank the folks at FEMA..."
Nobody should thank the folks at FEMA. If you don't understand what they are really doing, you need to stop what you are doing right now, and research how they have the right to take your rights away.
