Hello on this Thursday, October 25, 2007. I'm Rebecca Field with a UPI entertainment update.

Britney Spears is now attending parenting sessions. A source close to the pop star says she attended her first Parenting Without Conflict class in Beverly Hills yesterday. Her ex-husband Kevin Federline was also attending. The sessions are a requirement by a judge who's ordered Spears to follow if she wants more time with her sons. Right now, Federline has primary physical custody of 2 year old Sean Preston and 1 year old Jayden James.

Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty has been released from court supervision. A London court ended his 18 month drug treatment order yesterday...six months earlier than planned. Doherty has apparently been attending alcoholics anonymous meetings and drug rehab sessions. After the hearing, the singer told reporters he plans to stay away from drugs and continue the rehabilitation process.

"The Boss" is ruling the Billboard charts. Bruce Springsteen's new album "Magic" is number one on the top 200 list. It's the second time that CD has topped the list...it debuted at number one three weeks ago. In the number two spot this week is Kid Rock's "Rock N Roll Jesus." The Rascal Flatts' "Still Feels Good" is in third.

Actor Adam Sandler is donating a large amount of money to help at-risk kids. He reportedly pledged to give 1 million dollars to a New Hampshire Boys and Girls Club yesterday. A representative from the organization says Sandler's money will be used to expand the facility so it can accommodate more children. The Boys and Girls club aims to provide a positive environment for troubled youth.

Halle Berry is bringing her new film to London. Berry was at the screening of "Things We Lost in the Fire" last night at the London Film Festival. The director of the film, Susanne Bier also attended the event. The movie stars David Duchovny and Benicio Del Toro. It's about a family mourning the death of a father. "Things We Lost in the Fire" hit most U.S. theaters last week.

That's all for now. For more on those stories and all the day's news go to upi.com. Thanks for watching.
