if we have a draft then i would hope we could not get into wars so easily. if we do then moma's little boy's life is at stake and since he did not go voluntarily there seems, to me, an incentive for a larger citizen involvement in our Grovernment's affairs.

im not really into this topic can someone explain me how the draft was conducted ? and if i was born june 12 i would be drafted ?

It's pretty sick they call this a "ceremony" like it's some wonderful thing. Some things never change.

If I were to be born during that era I would of been number 8 September 7th dame must of sucked to live during that time.

If men have to sign up, women should to - especially now that in 2009, women have all the same rights as men. This was not true in 1969 but certainly is true now.

My aunt had a boyfriend at the time who was born in 1950. She was nervous while watching this.

Her boyfriend's birthdate ended up in the #300's. He was not drafted.
