James Bond drives English automobiles, or at least he should. German, Italian, French and other automobiles may be fine automobiles indeed, no question about that. But the car Bond drives should be English.

Preferably an Aston Martin!

@CmdrTobs Drug dealers driving Land Rover Discoveries and Freelander that would be quite interesting...No dude you can not say to me that Land Rovers are reliable because i own one...And i am friend with s4 guys that own 3 discos and one Range Rover...They are guys from a local land rover club...

@ManuelFerara To be fair I was talking about post war willys jeep thing that actually were British and are some of the oldest things on the road.

If you are talking about those lowered drug dealer things that come with tinted windows then I guess we have a mix up and I save my "AHAHAS..." for the tools that buy them.

I know a lot of Land Rover Range Rover and Discovery owners and not one of them is happy with their car...

king1917yeah@ Well it was designed in the 70's so it looks like a mustang to our eyes, the same way after the ford focus caused everyone adopted than mini-MPV shape to family cars... and it pretty much is a copy in that vein.

I'm sure in the 2020's we will look back at the 1980's and think the dozens of cars with pop up lights and almost no grill and small rectangle back windows are copies ...

@ManuelFerara Landrovers are fairly reliable. There pretty much the oldest cars registered in use. There a fairly old and simple design and probably aren't reliable per se, but the simplicity of service make up for it. It's basically a civilian mod Willys Jeep.

"And then you British people say that Japanese and Korean cars are copies ...." duno what specific British person said that, but it was a pretty common racist sentiment leading up to WW2 by the AB-D powers
