Final Fantasy VI Advance (Part 60 - New Esper Cactuar)

I'll show you how to get Cactaur now. Be sure to talk to the man first in Maranda that tells you about Cactuar. If you don't, you can't get this Esper.

After you talk to him go outside and fight in the desert. After killing 10 Cactaurs, Gingantuar will attack. It's basically a super Cactaur who casts 1000 needles a lot (and his desperation move inflicts this attack 10 times in a row, so you either need high hit points, Seraph Esper, or other tricks to win).

I also demonstrate using this Esper in battle after I received the Magicite.

Other than this, I don't think there's much I can do other than Kefka's Tower. I tried to do the Ebot's rock portion (and even made sure Strago was in my party) but for some reason there was no cave where the entrance is supposed to be? Maybe I'm missing something but I thought as long as Strago was in your party you could enter that sequence. Anyone have any ideas?

@kratos7777 I have also played both -- and there is PLENTY of difference, whether I use "Low Pass Filter" on the audio or not. And besides that, the GBA version's colors were all over-saturated to be more visible on the original GBA's non-lit screen. 8~(

Get the GBA version with the color and sound patches, you'll notice the difference even on a GBA and still have the added content. ;~)

@Dracula9AntiChapel There's barely ANY difference in this game's sound. I played both the SNES and GBA version and I would go for the GBA version every time now. The added contents are much better then slightly different music. xD
