  • The back, or pivot point moves to aid movement of the arms. Height needs adjustment to improve the cut when finishing off the piece, You need to have the cutter right on center at the base, which is hard to estimate from the beginning.

  • Not really. I have a few critics in my club who comment when I don't. I worked with a simply brilliant man named Harry Langland. Harry told me more than once that having something sting you in the face is God's way of telling you that it's time to put on more protection.

Harry was a genius before his time. I do miss him.

  • Hi capp love the vidio is somone shooting at the squirrel that runs up the tree thay can be tricky little beggers

  • You make me laugh. I use a Kelton Hollower I turned a handle for and it is a great tool but it normally comes as part of a very expensive system which is not dissimilar to your own. If you would really like a couple of pieces of freshly cut Yorkshire (UK) wood, I would send you some if the postage cost less than an arm and a leg. Thanks for the vide.

  • I got to tell you, you're alright my friend.... from a fellow wood-worker, and wood turner. my wife just said what are you laughing at in there.... ? I said now this guy knows how to keep you're attention......Keep up the good work..... LJG

  • You'll have to invite a few of us over to put the addition on your shop. Pretty cool flashlight and face shield. I love the variable speed fan in the background. If you want some cherry or oak or black walnut i have some extra if you want it.

  • Capt. In this video you said "I need to move the rest". You mean rotate it right? The heights stays the same. Or does the snake hollower allow for lift/decent motion?

  • Another good video!! I live in Homer Glen, IL Do you always use your full face guard??

  • You are great! thanks for the videos!!! Keep up the great work and teaching....
