Aware that parents are beefing up their religious credentials, Adam decides to weed out the hypocrites with a bible test and uses Nigel (Miles Jupp) as his guinea pig.

As missylainie said, vicars (Anglican priests) can be married. Also, women can be ordained. It's very different from the Catholic priesthood.

Exactly what is their to love about the Rev? He hates his nice wife, wants to shag the schoolmistress, ass-kisses his terrible boss, drinks & whines worse than Lindsay Lohan, blowdries his hair like Farrah Fawcett, has nothing but contempt for his flock, and delivers the most boring uninspired sermons ... wtf is this character wasting my time for??
