  • Un fucking believable tone and playing. Please post more like this.

  • @EVTMods thanks. i have been following your jcm 2203 ceriatone video and i liked your tone and playing and the overall build of the amp. i have a question for you...

i changed my ceriatone tone caps to sozo's and it made an improvemnt on the tone. i also ordered marstran output transformers and choke. would that give me an improved tone over the ceriatone trannies or am i cork sniffing??

thanks for your comment any way

  • @plexilespaul Yes it will, give it some time let the caps and the transformers break in and the amp shoukd open up.

  • @EVTMods cheers!!!! my ceriatone is a jcm 800 50 watt circuit by the way...

  • This looks like mine that I sold....had Mark Cameron tune her up & switch a couple caps to get her into the superlead territory. I'm in SoCal. Is this the same amp?

Excellent playing & tone! thanks for posting

  • try buying an acoustic guitar, you will save all the carrying and power

  • @WatchingMamut

Superleads have a bit more headroom. That's why Hendrix liked them.

  • @WatchingMamut super lead (guitar) and superbass (bass) are the same amp except for minor change in the circuit (guitar superlead is a little more bright). the head was sold as a guitar amp.

  • hey was that amp sold as an bass-dedicated or an so-called guitar/bass amp? What are the differences between this superbass edition and a standard plexi superlead? I would be grateful if someone into that gear could explain me that, this information would be very useful for me as I'm both guitar and bass player

  • Awesome tone, can you give me settings please?

  • @boddumblues right on the money

  • I had one but wanted more vesatility and sold it, bad move.

It is a very loud amp, great headroom and clean too.

    Takes pedals well.

lucky guy that has this model.

If you want it all, buy a 1959 Super lead too, and nothing can touch you!

  • @plexilespaull Thanks for the fast reply. What about volume? what are the volume controls and are you attenuating?
