@Rlotpir1972 - On the Davidson version, they used two short buzzes when an illegal clue was given...while I liked the fact that it avoided confusion w/the "time's up" buzzer, it was so short and abrupt that the clue-giver sometimes didn't hear it.

@shawnkquinn If the people from Bob Stewart productions had a second buzzer/horn and their OWN 'losing horns' like "The Price is Right" and "Card Sharks", there wouldn't be confusions.

@disneydanny2 Yes, they are one and the same. And yes, it has caused confusion. I remember one clip where a celeb says "what was wrong with that one?" and Dick replies "nothing, we ran out of time."

I wonder if Betty froze because she thought something might have been wrong (i.e. she gave away part of the answer) because at the moment the contestant got the right answer the board went dark instead of lighting up. Hmmm.
