@dod747 Some extreme Right Christians trying to revise our history of being a nation of laws create of, by, and for the people. The Founders remove God from government so you could choose for yourself if you want a god in your life.
@dod747...you have your right to practice your faith without government interference...every faith in america should. What I believe you don't see is your hero gohmert is taking his faith to interfere with government. He doesn't have the right to practice his faith in public venues if someone objects. We are a predomintantly christian nation(especially texas)and I believe that gohmert is just pandering to those votes. If he wants to preach...go on the 700 club
Representative Louie Gohmert is one of the bravest men in Washington. He is right in pointing out the spiritual foundation upon which our nation was built. Christians don't want to coerce anyone to become a Christian if it violates their conscience. We don't want to have a God-centered government (theocracy), we are simply wanting to have the right to practice our faith without government interference, and to resist any historical revision that removes God from our the lives of our Founders.
This representative louis goober stands on the congressional floor to preach christianity to the general public.Apparently he doesn't think anything has culturally changed in the US from 1776-2011.I'm all for freedom of individual religious practice in your church or home or gatherings....but if this guy gohmert wants to preach christianity he should be a priest not a congressman. Many US citizens are not christians....and this gohmert insults everyone of them.Wht does this sermon hv2do with gov
