The late 90's-pre2010 was, in my 14-year old opinion, the golden age of modern music. Now the radios are crowded with meaningless rap, empty sex songs, or are some of far too few songs that actually have a true, deeper meaning.

You know what's REALLY punk rock? NOT GIVING A FUCK WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY OR THINK. All of you out there, old school and new, who attach these limiting definitions to what it means to be punk are missing the point entirely. The punkest people out there are the ones who simply could not care less. Punk is an attitude, a state of mind, not a particular style of music or dress. The most hardcore punk I ever met was in his 40s, wore suits and ties and listened to Elvis and the Stones. :P
